The GF-9 Crane is a professional lightweight and modular crane for remote head operation. At a maximum height of 10.2m /33′ 5" it will carry a remote head and camera system of 25kgs / 55lbs. All other versions carry at least 30kg / 66lbs. The GF-9 is a very portable and mobile crane system, designed with safety, ease of transportation and stability in mind.

The GF-9 fits on a specially constructed tripod which enhance the system′s travelling mode. It can also adapt to most standard dolly systems with Euro-adapter or Mitchell mounts with special adapters to be supplied upon request.
The Hard Coated® arm consists of 6 identical 1.5m/ 5ft sections with a 1m / 3ft section available as an option to provide more variation in crane lengths. The arm is stabilized with an easy to mount, rod rigging system. For easy assembly, all front rods are identical and the longest, 10.2m version weighs in at 98kg / 215 lbs.

As confirmation of GFM′s high manufacturing and safety standards, the TÜV Süddeutschland have safety type tested and approved the GF-8 Crane System according to European guidelines for the scope of application under EC directives especially EC directive 98 / 37 / EC.
